Mmerse was founded in 2002 by longtime Web-site designer James Little. James has been building Internet sites since 1996, the early days of the Web.
The company's offices are in Sherwood, in Central Arkansas. Although Mmerse has clients nationwide, the company's primary focus is customers in Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana and Tennessee.
Since 2002, Mmerse has built more than 200 Web sites for businesses, nonprofit organizations, churches, civic organizations and individuals. Mmerse has always offered limited hosting and domain services, but in 2005, Mmerse Domains, a branded reseller agreement the Internet's largest registrar, was added to give clients significantly more domain registration, e-mail and hosting options.
Mmerse has won several national and regional awards for its work. The company prides itself on stringent design and programming standards, while at the same time pursuing truly unique, diverse solutions for each of its clients.
The company also has a strong commitment to innovation, consistently improving product offerings and the array of tools available to clients. The most recent innovation is the Mmerse Content Management System, a proprietary server-based site maintenance tool.
